Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I beta-read, I tend to look more towards content then towards the grammar and spelling - though if I see basic errors in either of those areas, I will definitely bring them to your attention. I expect that the person who writes a story in a certain section knows at least something of the source material - the canon - of that fandom, even if you're writing a big AU that barely touches canon at all. |

I would rather prefer stories that deal with action, or with sci-fi, fantasy, or supernatural things...that sort of thing. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm not very good with horror and I CANNOT deal with romance. Also, I won't be of any help in cases where the story is a mess of l33t and chatspeak and other things like that - all I would be able to tell you is to re-write the entire story with normal word usage, and THEN I can help you further. |
