Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Modesty aside, I am one of the better beta-readers around - not because I'm a great writer but because I used to be an English teacher. I have a long-standing love affair with the English language and thus I have familiarized myself with grammar rules, vocabulary, and spelling in my twenty years of education (I'm twenty six). I am not perfect, but I am patient with new writers and keep my criticism on a professional level. Ask my opinion, I'll be honest. Mutual respect is the key to a good working relationship. You have my word for my part. All I ask is yours, especially in the event I criticize your work or worse for your writer's ego, suggest revisions of entire paragraphs you probably slaved over for sleepless nights. Also, when I beta-read, expect some discussion on grammar rules when I deem it necessary. |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer to beta-read drama, humor, romance, tragedy, and supernatural stories. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Action, only because I am a bad action writer. |
