I am a stickler for details, whether its my own writing or someone elses. I have been a freelance copy editor and writing tutor since 1998, specializing in full-length supernatural novels and screenplays. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am a huge history buff and a virtually endless font of useless information. I studied history and literature in school and am currently persuing my grad degree in creative writing, so I am always willing to lend new ideas or useful historical/cultural references. I am also a walking thesaurus. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I am not the world's greatest speller. I'm actually a lousy speller, but my grammar skills and auto-correct sort of make up for it. That being said, I tend to over-edit my own work to catch mistakes. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I usually read horror, with a special love for vampire or ghost stories. However, because I have been copy editing for so long, I have grown accustomed to reading anything. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I think I would have to pass on poetry. |
