Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love to read; it helps me to de-stress. My beta style is more suggestions of what would enhance the work done by the author. I do not make these suggestions with the expectation that they be followed to the letter. The final draft of a story is competely up to the author; I am only there to be a sounding board. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am a very strong speller and one of my biggest pet peeves is poor grammer. Along with this, I tend to prefer that a story make sense; logic and flow are major parts to any good story. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to read very quickly in which case, I may miss some areas that could benefit from detailed review. This will have me re-reading stories for areas I may have missed. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like stories that are original and have character. I tend to not enjoy the cookie cutter stories that abound (pregnancy, marriage etc..) these days. ;) |
