Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
In English –
It’s quite simple, actually. I will read the piece and, in the file you sent me, correct the grammar mistakes, word usage and punctuation in red (I might make a small note explaining my corrections if you want). Concerning characterization, I will just write notes about what I think that is faulty – you decide if you accept my suggestions or not. I do expect to chat with you, if you ask me to beta, I’ll just give you my msn.

Eu lerei o texto e, no arquivo que você me mandou, corrigirei em vermelho os erros de gramática, palavras utilizadas de forma incorreta e pontuação (eu posso escrever uma pequena nota explicando minhas correções se assim desejado). Quanto à caracterização, eu irei escrever notas sobre o que acho que precisa de melhoras – você decide se aceita minhas sugestões ou não. In my main fandoms, count me to be really strict with characterization. I’m concerned with the characters’ speech pattern, their actions, reactions. I’ll warn you if I think it’s OOC.

My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses

As I am not a native speaker: the far I can go in the english language is pointing out some obvious grammar mistakes (punctuation, the difference between “you’re” and “your”, etc) and correct words that don’t mean exactly what you think they do.
