Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I edit for grammar (American English ;) not British), spelling, etc. I read and write because I love it, and editing is something I do naturally without the intention too so I would love to be a betareader for a a fellow writer. I am in Nursing school so school is my priority. However, if you want honest feedback I'm your person. I enjoy editing for the basics, but at times am inspired by a story with ideas on what can happen with situations or characters to make the story powerful and moving. When I write personally I do so from the stand point of current story lines. My favorite thing to do is write a story from the point of canon where it currently is, writing the characters and events as I foresee them possibly unfolding. That's my style and preference as a writer. I respect the writing styles of others and when I edit I do so as the second pair of eyes that could catch mistakes in spelling, grammar, etc. that are easily corrected before a story is published. If I have an idea I will share it, and respect any decision to use it or not. |

I tend to be very good at catching grammar and spelling errors. I'm American so my English is American English, not British. :) Keep that in mind. :) Also I'm honest in feedback, and will include everything I see. I love description and might make suggestions along that line, but it is up to the writer if they choose to use those suggestions. |

Here is a weakness for you, I've never been a betareader before. I write myself, and have edited for others for fun or school. That is the extent of my experience. :) |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I enjoy Sci-Fi, Drama, Romance. My favorite TV shows that I would love to be a betareader for include: SG1 (DJ & JS), Stargate Atlantis (ShepWeir), Roswell (ML & MM), Mutant X (JE), Star Trek Voyager (PT). My favorite movies include: Sky High. |
