Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta reader I am willing to read almost anything. Please don't send me a fic without first looking it over yourself and running it through a spell/grammar checker. If I can tell right off the bat that you haven't, I'll send the story back without looking it over. I will do my best to catch any and all spelling mistakes and most grammar mistakes. I will also make sure that you are sticking to the fandom in an adequate way (unless, of course, the fic is AU or something). |

I'm good at catching most if not all spelling mistakes. I can usually catch your/you're, there/their/they're, choose/chose, loose/lose, and to/too/two mistakes. Occasionally some words get by me, but that's why you run it through a spell/grammar checker. |

Grammar is not my forte, but I can usually catch what does and doesn't sound right. I'm not a Grammar Nazi but I do know the basics. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll pretty much beta anything as long as it's labeled properly and I know what I'm getting into when I open it. Don't be vague in your description of the fic. Tell me exactly what it's about so I don't get any surprises. Thanks. |
