Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have been a long time fan of Inuyasha (from 1997), reading all the mangas (including those not yet available in English), watched all the episodes and movies. I have several of my own stories on FFnet and am willing to act as a beta for upstarting new writers to the IY verse.
Be forewarned, I take writing seriously, and even more seriously, I treasure the joys that I have recieved being a part of the IY family. As such I am a very strong, strict beta who will stick to characterization like glue. I am not anti-AU, however I am 100% pro-character and will call you out if I feel that you are taking the characters out of context. In this effect, if you are interested in alternate pairings, Yaoi, or strong stretches outside of canon, then I am not the beta for you.
If you are looking for a beta to kiss your butt, I'm most certainly not the person to hire. If you want a completely honest beta, who will do her best to flesh out your story and make you into the absolute best writer that you can be, then please contact me. |
