Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love writing stories and find more often than not a fresh pair of eyes over a fic make all the difference. I like to offer that fresh perspective in order to help a writer provide their best efforts. Sometimes a writer just needs someone to bounce off their idea of a fic and a helping hand in setting it off in a good direction. I like to offer alternatives and opinions but respect that when it comes down to the line, the work is the writers and theirs alone to do as they will. I merely offer a alternative they may or may not wish to take heed of. |

Depending on the fandom and character I may not be best suited to help with particular fics. Take SG1 for example. I'm not at my strength with Teal'c fics because much as I love the big teddy bear, I'm hopeless when it comes to his muse. However the Sam muse has a rented residence in my big box of muses.br /

I don't promise to catch on every small flaw, one or two may fall through the gaps. br /

Tense - one of my weaknesses is keeping in the correct tense throughout, so I may not be much use to a writer although I always strive to try and help anyway I can. |
