Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I haven't done much beta-reading until now so I don't have much experience but I want to learn and I'll always do my best. I won't interfere much storywise and expressionwise as I think that everyone has his/her own style that is worth to be read. I think it's appropiate that anyone giving me a story for beta-reading checks it at least once for mistakes her-/himself as it minimises my work.

Ich habe bisher noch nicht viel Beta gelesen und bin daher nicht die Erfahrenste aber ich möchte gern dazulernen und werde immer mein Bestes geben. Ich werde die Story und den Ausdruck wenig kritisieren, da ich der Meinung bin, dass jeder so seinen eigenen Stil hat, der auf seine eigene Art und Weise sympatisch ist. Ich halte es für angebracht, dass man seine Geschichte noch mindestens einmal vorher selber durchliest und nach Fehlern durchsucht, da es meine Arbeit beträchtlich verringern wird. |

My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My missing experience in beta-reading leaves me probably a bit awkward with noticing and correcting faults in style and expression but that could also be blamed on my not being a native english speaker.
Da ich nicht viel Erfahrung habe, werde ich wahrscheinlich eher unbeholfen sein beim korrigieren von stilistischen Fehlern. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer Star Wars (Old republic) and Stargate.
I also have lot's of knowledge about the universes characters of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Scrubs, Friends and Serenity/Firefly
I have a basic understanding of Star trek (except DS9), A-Team, Narnia, Enid Blyton (Adventure series), Andromeda, Battlestar Galactica 2003, X-Men (all three movies), Knight rider
I've also seen a lot of movies but I'm not going to write them all down here :o)
