I've been editing works for a long time, both at school and for several friends online. I betaread by assessing the flow of your story. I'd expect, if you wanted me to beta your story, have a relatively long oneshot or series to edit- I won't edit drabbles and illiterate writers. I will accept many styles of writing though, I'm not a very confined beta reader.

My style generally is to copy and paste the stuff you've given me into a new document, fix some grammar/paragraphs/OOC characters in there, and give you both the unbeta-ed and beta-ed versions for comparison. Generally when I'm beta-ing I don't take offence if you don't include all my changes in your story; however, if you don't change any aspect or grammar or anything and I had stuff for you to fix, then I'll start to get annoyed. What use is a beta if you don't listen to them?

Also, I have a rather informal writing style- not much suited to people who're very formal.

Also, I won't read work that hasn't been proofread at least once. I'm not going to change half your story for you, either, because that's not a beta's job.

Flexibility- I can edit writing so long as it is in my six genres stated above and that I am allowed to read. I know grammar relatively well, can assess the flow of the story, and have some experience.

Some people say I have a skill for keeping characters in-character, and for making realistic OCs too. I can keep almost every character realistic in the way they talk and act, though not much by the way they think.

Spelling difficult words without spellcheck. I am also horrible when it comes to wiping out useless paragraphs, 'cause I'm a hoarder in real life and I think everything's precious. I have no sense of humor. Whatsoever.

I also can't seem to tell the difference between "offence" and "offense", and am prone to editing too much of a story sometimes.

I'll only beta K-T rated Minecraft, Neopets, Super Smash Brothers, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Deltora Quest fics. Preferrably series or oneshot collections with canon pairings.

Slash/Femslash, M-rated stories, violence, stories with lots of swearing and/or mature themes, heavy romance.
