Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a thorough reader. I will read a chapter several times, and each time I will focus on a different aspect of writing. The first time I speed read, to make sure that it's easy to understand. The second time, I check for spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. The third time, I look for plot holes, OOC characters, Mary Sues, and canonical issues. |

Tragedy, close bonding, angst, violence, and deathfics. Brotherly love is my favorite theme. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Absolutely no incest. Slash only if non consensual. I do not like stories that are mainly romance. I'm not saying I don't like a little romance, I just don't like alot of it. No Mary Sues, not even as a parody. |
