I would check for grammar and spelling, as well as the flow of the writing, although that doesn't mean I won't read writing that jumps around in time, as it were. Unless I get a massive volume in one go, I should be able to read, comment, and return within a day or two.

I will read just about everything, and I will say if it doesn't make a lot of sense to me if I can see anything that can be improved upon. I have read very widely in most genres and am open to the weird and wonderful. Very opinionated though, but I only give what I think (and hope) is constructive criticism, so anything I say that might be thought of as negative shouldn't be taken as a bad thing.

I have betaread before, but I am not very experienced. I am though, a wide reader of fanfic as well as writing myself, so I hope I can make up for that.

The writing I know best would be that of Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, The Man from UNCLE, and Final Fantasy VIII, but that doesn't mean I won't read other things!

Parody really isn't something I'm good at or very interested in (although on occasion I have been proven wrong), as well as such stories where all the characters go back to high school, that sort of thing.
