Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I minored in English in college and I am the daughter of an English teacher. I will look at grammar as a top priority. If the story is not grammatically correct or there are heinous spelling errors, I will fix those. As a beta-reader my expectations aren't too high, except that whoever wishes to use my services will have to understand that chapters and stories given to me over the weekend won't get read as fast as they will during the week. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I excel at spelling and grammar and I'm pretty good at bouncing ideas off of. If you need to brainstorm with someone, I'm really good at that. If you're stuck at a plot point, I can try and help you figure out where you're going. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My major weakness is lemons. If you need help with those, I'm not your person. I can't write a lemon if it hit me in the face. I can read through them to see if they make sense and are realistic, but that's about it. |
