I'm 22 years old and a college grad with a Journalism diploms. In Journalism, being able to write proper and correct sentences is an absolute must. I just got hired as a professional copy editor, so - without sounding too arrogant - I know my stuff.



I am a very blunt beta and would not be suitable for the overly sensitive. You have to be open for suggestions and improvements for I go through stories sentence by sentence and word by word. So if something does not fit, I will say so without sugarcoating anything.

I go into great detail when editing. Sentence by sentence and word by word. I'm good at pinpointing places that need expansion and more detail as well as helping two dimensional characters become rounder.



I am very blunt, and I know that is what some people crave in a beta.

I can sometimes be a bit too blunt - I sometimes do not give as many compliments as I should. If I don't comment on a particular sentence or paragraph, it means that I liked it and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. However, I do not always say that I did like it, which can lead some people to think that I thought their entire fic was awful.

I'd prefer one-shots so I wouldn't have a long term commitment. I can deal with chaptered fics as long as you don't send me a new chapter every single day.



Basically, the ideal would be no more than 3500 words at a time, and no more than once a week.

I will absolutely not read or edit any fics that involve MPreg, Mary-Sues, or OCs as main characters.



And do not expect me to return something immediately.. it may take a couple days or a couple hours. Usually it takes me no longer 24 hours. If it will take longer, I will send you an email informing you.
