I expect that, if you would like my help to edit your story, it is reasonably easy to follow. I don't believe I need to be familiar with the overall plot of whatever show/movie you have chosen as your inspiration. As long as a story is at least lucid, I will be happy to suggest corrections.

I have never had anyone comment negatively on my grammar or spelling, and have never used a beta myself. I figured, if I could assist someone less familiar with formal writing to improve their story, I would appreciate the opportunity. I understand when a semi-colon can be used appropriately, which is apparently saying quite a lot.

Thus far, I have not had the opportunity to beta a story, so I am not yet aware of my weaknesses. I acknowledge that I must have at least a few, and would like to learn about them so that I may improve.

I would prefer to beta stories that are based on the following shows, but please, do not consider all others to be out of the question: Chuck, Bones, Fringe, NCIS, Archer, The Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Warehouse 13, Law and Order: SVU, Harry's Law, Sons of Anarchy, and Rescue Me. As far as movies, just check with me. I've seen most, and would probably have no problem betareading. Same goes for anything based on anime shows.

I would not betaread any stories based on competition reality shows. I will not betaread anything that supports (not just mentions, but actually seems to strongly *promote*) violence, rape, pedophilia, or hardcore drug use.
