Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Me as a beta reader? Well... uh... I guess I am okay? I have had to proof read many things. I normally look for lots of detail, because I, for one, like detail. I try and help grammar, spelling, all those things. If you wish to get my services, make sure you can type in proper English. I can't stand the 'I ain't got no fifty cent, foo.' stuff. No gangster talk. I can understand if you are not an english speaking person and are typing in English. That, I can understand. I would like some level of intelligence. If I am taking my time to read it and work with it, you had better taken the time to write it decent. I don't exactly like long chapters, but I will do whatever. There is a lot of space here, and I am completely out of things to write.. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Spelling... I am normally good in that area. Maybe some sentence structure, and all that jazz. Grammar I'm okay in, but I am not perfect, so things may not be 'spick and span'. Detail, if you are looking for that... Past tense |

Sometimes grammar, and simple things. I sometimes have a hard time explaining things that I mean to say, because I become at a loss for words. Or, I draw a blank. Either way. Present tense things. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Mostly... decent, original yaoi, straight, or yuri stories. Something that can keep me interested, it has a good storyline. The characters are some what in character, and not totally revamped or something. Something kinda, at the very least, within the storyline of the game and/or manga that you are going from.
Non-human things. Those are always good.
Fetish sometimes...
Violence...

Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
High school/college flings - Kinda boring, not my thing entirely.
Super model/commoner - yeah... Whatever. There is enough out there.
Full sex vs. PWP(Plot? What plot?) - If you write a one-shot, make sure there is a point to it.
Band flicks - Dude, no. If the person wasn't in a band to begin with, do not do it. It's not good.
Ninjas - Do I even need to go into this?
First person as it is happening(Present tense) - They loose me, sometimes.
Chapters that are a paragraph long. I mean.. come on...
