I read stories that are on their second draft, at the earliest. I do not read first drafts because I believe every writer needs to go over their story and edit it themselves at least once before seeking outside assistance. I cannot write your story for you. I can ask questions and help you direct your writing, but if I wanted to write the story I would (and have).

I typically excel at helping writers flesh out their characterizations. I also have a good feel for the flow of a story and can help balance dialogue with prose or narration. Both are necessary: dialogue-heavy stories with no reflection seem shallow while stories with too much narrative are boring and slow.

I tend to fail at catching canon contradictions. I don't remember exact lines from episodes of television shows and I usually can't name episode titles. So if you're looking for someone to canon-check, I'm not your girl.

I don't really have preferred types of stories, although I'd probably be more useful reading stories from fandoms with which I'm familiar.

I do not beta M-rated stories involving minors with an adult partner. I don't care what the special situation is. Also while I DO beta alternate-universe stories, wild deviations from canon character should make some sort of sense.
