Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a junior-year English major who reads and writes with a careful attention to detail and grammar. I tutor English in my college's Learning Center, copyedit for my school's newspaper, and I am minoring in professional writing. As a beta reader, I will correct grammatical and spelling errors but not organizational errors - the latter I will point out but leave to the author to fix. |

I read quickly but throughly and can easily pick out spelling/grammatical errors. I read a lot so I'm familiar with many popular books at a variety of age levels. |

I can have a busy schedule, so I occasionally could be too busy to read a story immediately. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta stories dealing with books, movies, etc. with which I am familiar, so that I can examine how in-character and appropriate to the source material the story is. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm pretty open when it comes to stories dealing with sex, violence, etc. I'll let you know if I'm uncomfortable with being involved with a story. |
