I am what people would call a "grammar-nazi". I will most likely make quite a few corrections, and any one who chooses me should be prepared for this but be aware: I mean it in the best way possible. Nothing I say is meant to be offensive. If it doesn't fit, sounds awkward, is generally unacceptable to the English language - I'll let you know. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am very involved with the school newspaper, so my point of view will come partly from a journalistic-style. A few of my strengths would be vocabulary and word-choice; at any rate, I like paying attention to those two. And grammar, of course. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm horrible with vague deadlines and I'm never finished editing. I like dialogue so sometimes as a reader I skip over long paragraphs. I don't know myself well enough to know anything beyond that at this moment in time, being late in the night. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'm quite open to anything. If it's a category I don't know about, I might not be the best candidate, but if you're determined to have me then just explain some about it. |
