Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love to read and critic so much more than actually writing my own stories. It makes me happy to be a part of the writing process. I mostly like reading anime(practically obsessed). But I also dabble in everything else. I think that M/F pairings but I also love Yaoi(M/M) pairings. I like Stories that are going to be long (20ch & up. w/ @ least 2,000wrds. each ch.). I've beta'd for a few people. As well as given a lot of ideas and questions that are always appreciated. I like to use YIM and have AIM so that ideas and such can be transferred quickly. A lot of the things that I like and dislike are in my profile. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
If you give me a general idea of how you want your story to go I can generally give you about 10 different ideas to get there, and add on to it. I can be picky about spelling and grammar in everyone but myself. I have read so many fanfictions that I'm open to almost anything. If I haven't read/seen/played whatever it is the category is I have no problem looking it up to get myself acquainted. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Every once in a while I get stuck on one idea and can get pushy on it. My spelling is greater than my grammar. If it's not a story that I like than It is harder to connect and give proper advice. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others

Stories that have a long build up. On stories that do not have Kagome in them I would prefer them to be Yaoi. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
1) Have a crossover with more that 2 series
2) Make Kagome all powerful(Unless she's been alive for a LONG time)
3) When they make it so that Kagome it actually a demon and/or wizard (meaning something not as it says in the actual story) and is just finding out about it in a 'supposedly' cannon (or non-AU) story.
4) Stories that you basically want them to fall in love straight away.
5) When people do an Inuyasha xover where the other person/group goes to the Feudal Era And joins there quest. ( I just think that only the Inu-taichi should be in that time.)
6) When the have all of the Inu-taichi go to with Kagome to wherever she goes across the well(in case of xovers) (The only one's that I can accept crossing are Inuyasha, Shippo, and Kirara. Unless they were reincarnated).
