Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Me as a beta reader:
I've grown up and I've had my share of lame stories. Just read my stories. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a lame writer. Heck, we're not all born with talent.
My betareading style:
I read like viewers do. I judge stories by their characterizations and spelling. Grammar, too, of course. I'm like you when you go the theater. I yawn if I find it boring, I laugh if it's stupid, or cry if it's sad. I'm the critic you wish never existed.
My expectations:
Don't take my criticism as harsh or rude. I'm being truthful. When I read a story, I tell the truth, no pretty lies or false crap. I'm honest when it comes to fanfiction. I'm not going to be flat out cruel, though, and I won't make you cry. Or, at least, I hope I won't.
Also, if you dislike my advice, fine. Whatever. But don't credit me if you didn't use it. That's lame, kids. |
