I can either be extremely tough or extremely light, depending on what you want. I will never mock you or put down your work. I can find something good in everything, and if you're searching for a beta reader, that makes me like you even more.

One note I must make: Some of the fandoms I signed up to beta-read for are very general (i.e. "Musicals/Plays"). If you write for one of those broad categories, please ask me first what specific fandom your story is in so I can help you out with it. For example, if you come to me with a story on the musical "Memphis," I will have to turn you down because I have not seen that musical, nor am I familiar with it, so I would not be of much help.

My strengths lie in my grammar and spelling skills, and I can be extremely nitpicky about grammar. I also love getting inside characters' heads, so I will be able to give you an idea of how in-character your characters in the story are, and what you can do to improve them, etc.

I'm terrible with plot. A good story to me can just be someone rambling on about a character and what goes on in their mind, even if there's no plot. If you're looking for someone to help you specifically with how to make your plot more interesting, I'm afraid I will be of little help. However, I like to avoid cliches, and I can tell you if something seems very cliche to me.

I'll beta-read just about anything. Someone just asked me if I was okay with slash, and yes, I am. I'm okay with pairings of any sort.

No poetry, please. I have a strong distaste for poetry. No songfics, either.
