Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm not harsh, or overly critical. I simply try and find what needs to be fixed, point it out with some explanation, and help the writer improve.
Style-wise, I like to read what I've been given once, then go back and read it a second time to proofread. Once I'm finished, I like to speak/chat with the writer and go over what problems I found.
My only expectations are that the writer handle the criticism like an adult and take the information I give to them to improve. |

I think an area I could always improve upon is plot development. I believe reading and betareading are good ways to improve my identification of problematic things. |
