Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I’m a mature adult who has been reading, writing and reviewing fanfiction since 2000. I use a strengths based approach when critiquing stories, which means I start my review by looking at the strengths of the story before moving on to the weaknesses. My reviews are filled with honest praise and constructive criticism. My return time may vary, depending on length of story, my own schedule and how much work the story requires. When I beta, I use ‘track changes’ on Microsoft Word. I’m available for multiple reads as well as e-mail and/or IM conversations. I can also help with creating summaries. |

I am a big picture person and I see the story as a whole. Therefore I can see where the story doesn’t flow and can point out parts that can be cut down or built up to enhance the story. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weakness is fine details, specifically grammar and spelling. I would suggest that after I have looked over your story, you should send it on to someone who is strong in this area for a final review before posting. |

I'll read anything, though, as you can see in my profile, I write mostly general. As well, your story doesn’t need to be finished before you send it to me. I review at all stages. |
