Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I expect you to at least be able to write a proper sentence, with proper punctuation. Spelling is no big deal to me as long as I can decipher what you're saying; I don't mind fixing that up.
Please understand how to use paragraphs properly. Seriously, big blocks of text are a turn off for any reader.
Some things I will look for: How consistent is the plot? Are the characters in character? Are any OCs acting like Mary Sues or Gary Stus? How does the story itself flow?
I am learning French and can speak it decently, so I do not mind beta reading stories in French. Do not expect me to fix your grammar in French; I'll check everything else, though. |

I'm a bit of a grammar freak. You can definitely say spelling and grammar are my strong points. I'm good at fixing problems with the flow of sentences, as well (for the most part). |

I may rewrite sentences so they sound good to ME, but maybe others won't like it. I'm not sure how good I am with "voices". I find too much detail boring and unneeded, so sometimes I can slip up and make it too little. |
