My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
For me, I am quite talented with basic phrasing and grammar rules. Confused by commas? I'm not; I had it beaten into my by old beta. My description is very good and my vocabulary is good. I also like to include side notes about things I find interesting or funny in which I hope to provide encouragement. If it annoys you, just tell me. ^-^ |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not great with plot. I mean, I will be able to point out gaping holes and such, but I'm not especially nit picky. A cliché story about characters going to the beach? I'll be able to tell you if it's well-written, but I probably couldn't give you too many ideas. The only other problem being my schedule-- it is a little crazy. I will get back to you as soon as is possible, but it may take a couple days. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
If I know the series, I'll beta it. I can deal with violence, cursing, and romance. I prefer het and yaoi, yuri is fine, too, but I don't read it that much, so I can't tell you much about the relationships. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Pure smut is great, but I don't feel exceedingly comfortable editing it. It's fine if there is sex (or what have you) in a story, but I'd rather not edit a one-shot pure lemon. I'm sorry iuf this is a problem for you, but I just don't feel exceedingly comfortable with it. |
