Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Just like every other Beta Reader on this site, I'm an English nut with lots of time on my hands. Unlike all the other Beta Readers, however, your story comes first. I'm not out to recreate your stories, I merely want to point you in the right direction to make them the best they can be. Everything I tell you is optional - you don't have to make the changes, this isn't a professional newspaper. But I DO know what I'm talking about, and you must listen to what I tell you.
Given the choice, I like humorous reading, but as long as you'll be willing to take my advice I'll read almost anything. Graphic content isn't a problem. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Very few cultural references are lost on me, I have a very dry wit, I'm an AP English student, I'm a newspaper editor, and I don't sugar coat things. I tend to care less about grammer, although I do have most of my rules memorized, and more about style. |

I'm fairly good with grammer, but I'd have to say that it takes a backseat to style. |

Scifi and fantasy are my favorites, hands down. If you think what you've got is good though, send it to me. |
