Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well, in short, I'm the type of beta reader who will not fix your chapters FOR you. I'll point out what could use more work, fix spelling and grammar, and give suggestions on how to change things that make no sense, but I'm not going to take your chapter and fix the entire thing for you, as then it would not be your chapter, and you'll never improve. That is my philosophy.
Okay, now I just sound like like I'm trying to act a whole lot smarter than I am. Sorry.
Expctations of anyone that wishes to acquire my services... I dunno. I'd prefer if you have at least basic knowledge of smelling, grammar, and formatting, but if not, I'll help you out. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm very good at catching spelling and grammar mistakes, and I'm usually pretty good at making characters seem human. I can usually tell if a canon character is in character, too, so I can point out if they're not, though figuring out how to fix it is... not my strongest point. I'll give it a try. |

Description. I'm not the person to come to if you're having problems describing something without pausing the story, unfortunately. I can point out where more description would be nice, but I'm not great at ACTUALLY describing things. |

I'd prefer to beta stories from categories I know better, but I selected every category I at least slightly know. |
