Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm fairly new to beta-reading, but I've been proofreading and editing my friends' works for years, from school essays to stories to whatever.
When I beta, if I change anything, I'll highlight my changes so you know they're there, and so you know what I've changed.
I'm notoriously known as a Grammar-Nazi, so if your grammar sucks, I -will- let you know. |

Finding "just the right word." I cannot tell you how many times I've settled for a word that was less than perfect, only to have the entire imagery be completely thrown off. Oh, and I'm fairly bad about putting contractions into narration. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I don't really have anything to which I'm particularly partial -- except for introspective things; I love introspective works. So hit me with whatever.

Yaoi, slash, yuri, whatever you call it is a no-no. Unless it's got an intriguing plot; then maybe we'll talk.
