Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Let's see. I love to edit/beta read, and have been doing so for almost as long as I've been on the site. My first story was "Risen Demon" by Red Mage 04, then the sequel, and I'm currently going over his "A Second Chance." I've also edited a few other stories (none for so long as Red Mage's), and I am usually the sought-after editor in our school "peer groups" for when we write essays. I am best at editing Jak and Daxter stories, Naruto, Death Note, or any other various anime/manga genres. I am also good with books I have read, such as Harry Potter and Tamora Pierce. For any genres that I do not usually read, however, I do need a little background information so that I can understand the plot and the characters more.
My style for beta reading is usually an "all-at-once" sort of thing. Usually I read through documents, change any minor mistakes, correct major ones, and suggest different wordings and such. I have also been asked upon to provide ending sequences, or ideas for scenes, or ways to get to the next section.
For anyone who wishes to acquire me, I only ask that you don't mind waiting a few days, keep the chapters/sections sent mostly to the weekends, and the ability to say hi once in a while :) Extra information/pictures that accompany chapters/sections are also very much appreciated. |

I am excellent with grammar, organization, improvement, rewriting, rewording, and basically everything else. Occasionally you might get a few misspelled words from me, but nothing much escapes my grasping fingers >:) |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta INTERESTING stories :) Funny ones are better, and more fun to edit! I am not unwilling to do yaoi (as I myself write many), and will even do lemons-- yes, lemons. |

Please nothing way out of my knowledge-- no obscure mangas or video games I've never heard of! (That's only for long-time associates.)I will not read stories so grossly horrible in terms of organization (i.e., with almost no paragraph breaks, no capitalization, chatspeak, excessive use of numbers), and if you must send me angst, please keep it to a minimum. Angst makes me sad. Also, I won't do suicide. |
