Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
A nineteen year old guy who has spent a lot of his time reading and writing different compositions who enjoys receiving and giving constructive criticism. I will be beta-reading, checking for a smooth flow of words that link together to make a good form, simple grammar errors, possible inconsistencies, small mix-ups, spell-checks (if you do not have that app.), and giving small critiques at the end of my analysis. Harsh as it may sound, I will only take requests from writers who have writing ability greater than a five-year old's that has been presented in previous stories (new authors are excluded). |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am good at checking for proper sentence structure and grammar errors. I am not prone to bias simply because the story is on a topic that I am interested in, or because the story may have a particular couple or character that I like. I love to read and write and do it nearly on a daily basis getting in good practice and more experience for future stories I will write. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
There will be some occasions where I will be unable to fulfill your requests for several days. Duties within the military will often coincide with time spent here and, quite possibly, will restrain me from doing so for several months. I am not a perfect reader and may accidentally skip over small mistakes. If I feel that it's warranted, I will give out harsh criticism for a poorly done story. |

Any and all stories are welcomed to be beta-read. Anime, Books, Movies, TV, Original, all categories of stories are accepted and will be given an effort to complete. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
While all categories of stories will be accepted by me, I would not like to beta-read stories that have an excessive use of CAPS and the writing ability of a toddler. |
