Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'll read the story as if nothing is wrong with the first time. Then I'll start making the changes, making sure that everything flows, that nothing is overdone or exaggerated. My style takes a while but I make sure that I get the job done. My only expectations are that you don't expect perfection from me and that your story, one-short or epic isn't written so poorly that you expect me to be able to turn it into a prize winning book. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths lie within making a story flow and giving it depth. If something doesn't make quite enough sense, I'll add the depth and background scenes that it most likely needs to be complete. I'm also rather good at fight scenes and scenes that require a certain depth, a certain energetic appeal that is lacking in most areas. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm horrible at grammer. I can make changes where it's needed and I understand it, but I get awfully confused at some areas and ask for help from fellow writers. My weakness as a writer is somehow, the first write-through, my main character starts to develop the same characteristics as previous characters and I have to go back through it, changing her/his personality to suit what I would rather have had it been. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
My preferred stories? I love short-stories, erotica, romance, some action adventure, if you have an 'End of the World' story, that'd be beyond amazing. Epics and longer, thousand or more stories are good too. But romance is definately my cup of tea as I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and can relate some of my life against what people write.
Cowboy Bebop: I'll do anything.
Devil May Cry: Anything EXCEPT Dante or Vergil/Sparta(Sparda) and Dante or Lady/Arkham
Final Fantasy 7: Anything but Non-Con. Won't Do it.
Final Fantasy 8: Will not do Cid with anyone or Guardians with anyone
Final Fantasy X: Will not pair Kimarhi with anyone.
Final Fantasy X-2: Same as above.
Full Metal Alchemist: Pride or Fuhrer Bradlely paired with anyone, is not my cup of tea.
