The one thing you'll find about my beta-reading style is that I'm kind of harsh- but only when I need to be. I'm particularly strict on grammar, unless it serves a poetic purpose. Another thing that I am not too lenient on is spelling. Please, if possible, run it through spell check before asking for help- I understand that there are many without Microsoft Word, so I won't make it a prerequisite, but it would be nice if it can be done. If it can't be, and the spelling mistakes are insanely ridiculous, I won't be able to read it fully, and the comments you get back might not be as good as the ones you would get if you actually took the time to spell your words correctly.

QUICK ADDON! I have now added "The World Ends With You" as one of my beta sections. This is not a mistake. I also will beta for TWEWY, because I love that game way too much.

Moving on, I'm good for more than one thing. Considering that I've listed myself in the Halo fanfiction area, it must be mentioned that I do have quite a bit of knowledge regarding the Halo universe. Therefore, I'm also quite adept at fact-checking. If, for some odd reason, you would only like your fiction grammar-checked, then please note that. Keep in mind that this is beta, so I might still note some of the more major storyline flaws if any exist.

My exact style has been mentioned before, but I can now sum it up in a sentence or two. I am a grammar/spelling fiend. Bad grammar makes me cry. Please, please don't make me cry. Also, I'm a storyline freak. Bad plots, bad OCs, and bad facts make me cry as well. Again, I'd rather not cry while reading fanfiction, unless it's purposely made to be sad.

I am a writing tutor with a year and a half of experience, so I'm good at anything mechanical- grammar, spelling, etc.

I've got a very good understanding of the Halo universe/storyline. So there ya go.

I tend to be slightly hard on plots that really disagree with the storyline of the category they are being submitted to. In other words, fictions that feature extremely "OOC" behavior in established characters from the canon storyline that are not claiming to be humor/parody or the like. Specific example: If one has a action/sci-fi Halo fanfiction that has no mention of humor in its summary, making Master Chief dance around in a frilly tutu would probably alert my sensors- however, it should be said that an example that obvious is probably non-existent.

Also: It might take me a while to beta read something. If you only have a short amount of time, I'd suggest going to one of the other readers. Although I will leave good comments and suggestions, I kind of put things off sometimes.

Might as well also mention that I'm pretty honest with anything I say. If the amount of nonsensical elements is too high, you'll know. I might suggest you change the storyline around a bit- you certainly don't have to heed my advice, so it's not like that's the problem here. The problem is that some people get offended by the mere suggestion. If you're looking for beta help from me, please don't be that type of person, as that truly makes me, shall we say, "angry with rage".

Action/adventure; comedy/parody; even romance are fine categories.

I'm not a big poetry editor, so none of that.
