Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I beta-read I like to write down my comments as I go, and I will bold any spelling/grammar mistakes in the document in the corrected form. I won't change anything, but I will give suggestions that I feel will help your piece to flow or seem more believable. I will only beta for a series I have read or watched. If tend to litter the document with comments on what I enjoy about the piece, and I tend to miss commas. Also, the word "the" I frequently have to go back and recheck that I've got the letters in the proper order. |
