Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I do not have much experience as a beta-reader, but I do have a lot of experience as an editor at my school newspaper and as a journalism major. I love reading other people's work and helping them get it exactly the way the want it. I am really big on grammar, which is something I really look for and heavily edit when I am beta reading. I like to know where the author wants the story to go and what sort of tone that are setting, as it better helps me to edit their stories. Also, I would like to work with writers who are open to suggestions and not offended by constructive critism. |
