Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm pretty flexible as to the story line and crossing two different stories together. I usually read through it first, then go back. When I edit a sentence or a paragraph I write what I think sounds better in brackets or bolded or italiced. As for expectations, spelling, by that I mean the word 'you' is spelt 'you' not 'u' and there are capitals in the right places. As for punctuation, all I'm expecting you use periods(.), commas(,), and quotation marks(" "). |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at pointing out awkward word combinations and description that doesn't make sense. I'm also good at adding 'filler' meaning the part of the story where the reader learns a bit more about the characters and how they interact with each other. I have an active imagination which allows me to come up with ideas about what could happen next or what kind of exchange should happen between characters. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
When I write my own story I always end up writing myself in a loophole, but I usually figure out a way to figure it out. My rule for publishing chapters is to always stay three chapters ahead of what's posted, unfortunatly, I tend to disregard that rule when someone's review makes me happy. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like to beta like any kind of story, I'm not a major fan of romance, but I read it and write some of it anyways. as for Male/female, female/female, male/male relationship romance stories I'm open to them |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
There isn't many stories I don't want to read. I'm not a fan of poetry, stories are my thing. |
