Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My name is Chris, to keep busy I read and write. I have helped with writing and written my own work for years. While I usually use a beta with my own work I find it is a good idea to have an unbiased eye go through your stories and work out the kinks. I do like credit for helping out but do not require it, if you wish to keep that you had assistance to yourself I respect that and will keep my mouth shut.
All I ask for when being a beta is that people respect that depending on the length of the story and depth of it, that you understand it may take a bit of time.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm pretty good at grammer and if I miss anything most of the time my word program fixes it for me. I'm stubborn about spelling and I will always focus on it. I also do large amounts of research for any story I do on my own and if asked I would probably also do a considerable amount for for any story I beta. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
While spelling focus is my main thing I have problems with certain words and I sometimes get confused on what some words I use are, I do however check to make sure the words I use are accurate. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Anything listed is it, I do HP as long as I have the information behind the story. GH anywhere with Jason and Elizabeth and GG though I prefer Jess and Rory (Literati) I also do Luka and Lorelei (Java Junkie) as well as any other Rory couple as long as it's not Dean. Fushigi Yuugi I know all through EikoDen but not as good with Genbu Kaiden only read two of the mangas. |
