Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a flexible beta reader. I can do your basic spelling/grammar check, but I'm also happy to give critique of one's writing style (when critique is necessary). If you want my services, but just want the basic check, please let me know. Otherwise, don't complain if you don't like my opinion. I will tell you if I think your dialogue/actions are out of character, and I expect you to take this in stride and do something about it. I'm a big fan of the adage "show, don't tell," which is pretty much a basic guideline for writing of any kind. |

I excel at spelling and grammar. I have also served as a literary editor, and have taken writing classes, so I am also capable of critiquing one's storytelling. I'm an English major, so reading and writing consumes my life. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I use too many commas. Sometimes life gets in the way of my reading and writing, so I have to be careful not to take too long with a story, or to read it too quickly. I have issues with anything that I feel is overused in fanfiction. |

I like canon. I generally like canon ships. I like non-shippy stories too. |

I don't do smut. I don't particularly like non-canon ships either. |
