Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have a good grip of English spelling and grammar, and at the very least can be relied on as a proof-reader. I know what I like to read in fan fiction, and will always try to give a considered opinion. Depending on the size of the piece being beta-ed, I can probably turn it around in a day or so. |

My main weakness is most likely in descriptive pieces - although I'm more than willing to give an opinion as to whether I like it and make a few suggestions for improvements. |

Generally, I prefer to read fiction in areas I'm familiar with, although I'll try anything once. |

I'm not really up to date with things such as anime - I like some of it, but I don't feel I know enough to be a good beta. |
