Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm not a nice person. That's probably something you should be aware of immediately. Not that I'm mean for the sake of it, I'm just not all sunshine and rainbows.
I'm fairly picky about spelling and grammar, and I like things to be paced well. While most flaws can be forgiven for a very good plot, it helps to at least try (well done for looking at betas). The internet is a text-based media, you're on it by choice, and you're trying to be a writer. It's polite to at least attempt to do it properly. |

I'm British, and although I'm familiar with many American, Canadian and Australian spellings, I may still attempt to correct those I don't recognise. I'll try to get out of that habit. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Please don't show me FFVIII fanfics with non-canon pairings (please don't split up Selphie and Irvine, or Squall and Rinoa). They make me cry. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm not so good at limes; I enjoy reading them, but they make me blush, which makes critiquing slightly difficult. |
