Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Who I am as a beta? Read what I've written. I never use useless emoticons like some douches. I'm blunt but that just stands for honesty.
By reading I mean correcting. Like if your plot is skewed and unrealistic I'll turn it until it seems to fit through the show.
I check mostly on grammar usage, punctuation, and spelling. I'd like contact with you if I could while I'm fixing or editing your writing. I'll actually help you on character developement, steady plot, and anything else you need help on.
I'm one of those types who won't change something without an explaination or without telling you. Everything that goes on you'll know of it for sure.
I'll even give you ideas for new stories if you want all right? Freebies just to keep me from getting bored. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm a senior in AP.English so I can tell you a few things about writing. I'm in journalism so I assure you that no dialogue will sound robotic and unnatural as if it's some cheap script. English may not be my very first language but don't let that fool you I've pretty much mastered it to perfection.
My strengths are spelling, grammar, punctuation, and reason.
I currently have a full GPA. Don't call me a nerd just supremely intelligent. Seriously, if you ever saw me you'd guess I had a 2.6. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm just not good at reading into your meanings or intentions. If you place any double meanings in the text most chances are that I won't catch it. Another thing is that if you mispell a word but it's a correct spelled word I most likely won't detect it (like: their spelled there). I'm not a robot even though I seem like one at times. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
If it's games/anime/any other shows I know of I can beta for you. Animes that I've listed above are the most known to me but if you want to shove a show down my throat and make me watch it just to help you all you have to do is ask. |
