I am interested in being a beta reader. I will tend to be quite critical of works, unless I am genuinly happy with the piece, in which case you will hear nothing but good things from me. If I do point out mistakes, and reccomend change, and you don't change the problem, that will tend to make me rather annoyed. I'm optimistic towards original characters, and will only bring up points that concern me, as soon as they concern me.

I'm quite good at coming up with ideas and backstories for more minor characters, or even major characters whos stories we hardly know anything about. Which this tends to come quite good plot twists ideas.

I don't really get on with grammar, but we're getting to a point of civilness. I also have the tendency to prefer quite long rambling sentences, which can be a bit of a bother, tending towards purple prose. I am learning though

As far as ships go, I will beta for slash, femslash, or heterosexual pairings, though I will point out if I feel that the pairing doesn't work all that well.

Erm, though I am willing to try my hand at most fandoms - if I don't know it that well I will go and do the needed research - I would prefer not to be asked to beta any Twilight fics. Or High School Musical, Camp Rock etc.
