I am a girl, so I tend to think like girls do (gasp). I haven't had much practice with writing from the point of view of a guy, but I'll try anything. I will do song fics. I just thought I'd let you know, since a lot of people don't like them. Slashes, it depends. Yaoi/yuri and shounen/shoujo-ai, of course.

I'm pretty good with anything except for fight scenes. My specialties are romance and fantasy. I try to make everything as natural as possible, because I hate clichés and corny lines (unless it is completely unavoidable or the scene calls for it).

Fight scenes are my greatest weakness. I just have trouble making them long enough to keep people interested, and not have them in a formulaic fashion, such as punch-kick-insult-punch-kick-sudden boost of energy from nowhere-win battle. Also, with my own stories, I tend to think way ahead to the end of the story and write that chapter; but then, I hit a wall and can't find a good way to get from point A--the chapter I'm on--, to point B--the end chapter.

Although I don't mind what kind of story I beta, my greatest strengths would be with anime/manga and romance and fantasy.

Stories that revolve around fighting (such as those based on Dragonball Z) are "not my cup of tea." There are some slash stories I won't do (because of personal preference). I would also rather not do lemons or limes. I honestly think a story shouldn't have to have sex and the like in it to be "good" or "popular."
