Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader I haven't been a beta-reader in a very long time, but I'm pretty sure I'm up for the task. :]
Before I beta your story I would like to know what it's about, where you eventually want the story to lead, the characters (a quick characterization of them) and any other information you think I should know. | My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths I'm strong with spelling, punctuation and the flow of dialogue. I tend to keep things realistically- keeping characters IN character, making sure things flow in the right order and that everyting makes sense. | My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses I'm weaker in the area of description. I tend to lean more to dialogue and forget to add the minor details. And I also haven't been a beta in awhile. Therefore, I might be rusty. | Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others I like to keep an open mind, but I would definitely only want to beta stories that are in a fandom that I'm familiar with. | Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for Besides slash or something out of my fandoms, I'll read just about anything. |
