Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta reader, I tend to be easy going, I not an expert in the english language and I never claimed to be, but I am willing to work with someone who is starting off and lend them any advice I can give. If you need help I am willing to assist. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I think of myself as a fair researcher on the source material I consider myself compontant in, if not I will let you know. I usually can pick out the most glaring errors. I'm also pretty good at pointing out bad crossovers and able to advise. Also I do come up with some ideas every now and then. |

Grammar and the finer rules of English I ain't so hot. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Anyhting goes and go nuts with some restrictions.
But I prefer the following since I have an abundance of source material:
1. GI Joe (mainly the old Sunbow series)
2. Transformers (G1 only)
3. Bubblegum Crisis (original only)
4. Gundam (Universal Century only except ZZ and Victory, I haven't seen those yet.) |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
1. No,under any circumstances, Male Slash. Being a guy, I would rather read femslash
2. No pointless crossovers. I will inform you of it and I will advise.
3. No IM lingo unless apart of the story's dialogue. So you Texting junkies out there, you'll have to do it the old fashion way....WRITE IT OUT!
4. No fics which have source material I am unfamiliar with, unless it a crossover, and I'm allow to do research on it before I can advise.
5. No PWP
6. I will NOT respond to someone who request for me to write the story for them. I will terminate the association right there.
