I love to read and beta ANYTHING! Incest, slash (boyXboy & girlXgirl), mpreg, fpreg (opposite of mpreg), gory, lemons, AU, dark, any Ratings (including NC-17), any spoilers, mary-sue etc etc. Basically I can beta ANYTHING you can think of. I won't be sicken of what I read, I won't offend you from your ideas, you lack of writing skills etc. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good of giving advice and ideas.
When I read something or watch something on the TV I dent to think beyond of what I read and watch, that I can "see" through the person's eyes. Basically what I mean is that I can "see" myself in that person's shoes. For example: when I do that I understand a "bad guy" thoughts and feelings. I see the "good side" of that person and why they are doing of what their doing. Also when I read a story I see so MANY possibilities of what could happen next. (My Gift is both a curse and a blessing. It sucks sometimes when I watch a movie or read a book, nothing surprise me because I "know" what "might" happen next). |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I have dyslexia and a learning disability. And I have a problem of present/past/future at writing. If you have the some problem about present/past/future I'm not the best person to Beta your story, because 50-50 chance I won't see the error and skip it. If you good on that, I'm the beta for you.
When I beta stories, I LOVE to see my name somewhere stating that I beta the story, either in the beginning of the story or in each chapter. If I don't see it, I tend to get angry about it. Sadly I either sat it in Review saying that I beta the story or I email the person. I set an example I put my own betas in my FFnet profile AND on top of EACH chapter of my stories. |
