I enjoy helping people, especially with their writing. I am convinced that no one can write on their own, even if it may seem so, because they need at least a couple people to critique their work. I try to be open-minded with various styles because writing is a creative process. |

I have a strong grasp of English grammar and structure. I tend to lean toward concise story-telling and I enjoy chopping out excess words. |

I tend to be a little too technical with writing sometimes, so everything I say is much better accepted as suggestion. In the end, writing skill is in the eye of the beholder. Even perfectly formed sentences and proper grammar can result in a poor story. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like stories that move along at a decent clip and don't dwell too much on feelings or interior monologue. That said, I enjoy complexity very much. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Things that are inappropriate for the sake of being inappropriate, or things that are written without a care for the purpose (this is fan *fiction* after all, not dialogues or craziness) are not my cup of tea. |
