Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader I enjoy writing, and helping other write. I typically read a piece multiple times before commenting on it so I have a full grasp of what is being said, and what is trying to be said. If desired I will do grammatical reviews, general concept and flow reviews, or even full-blown "Help me rewrite this so others can understand what the story I'm trying to tell" reviews. I will read most anything where I am at least familiar with the universe it is written it. While I almost exclusively write Final Fantasy VII fanfiction, I enjoy reading many varieties including video games, anime, some movies, and even a few television shows. | My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths I am usually pretty good at picking up on grammatical errors and logical inconsistencies. I am also pretty good at figuring out how to word abstract ideas in a way that conveys their true meaning, not a gross misunderstanding of the words. | My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses My biggest weakness involves my initial recommendations for reconstructing sentences. I tend to put everything in my own writing style, but with work can adjust to match others' styles. Also, poetry, I kinda stink at review poetry. I love reading it, but reviewing it . . . no so much. | Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others I truly have no particular preference as a guiding rule. One-shots or multi-part makes little difference because both have their place. | Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for Poetry if you're looking for more than a "hey this is cool" review. |
