Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am an avid fan of Inuyasha, Bleach and Samurai Champloo. I am a detail oriented beta reader, who focuses on spelling, grammar and continuity issues. I also try to improve the flow, logic and readability of a story. I expect anyone who wants my services to be willing to listen to the feedback I give them. While some issues, like writing style, are matters of personal preference, others, such as spelling, are not. I am willing to negotiate with the writer on the level of beta feedback desired. |

I excel at catching spelling, grammar and continuity errors. I am a very picky reader, and I automatically look to correct errors. I also try to improve general readability and smoothness of content. I also try to improve the underlying logic of the content, and make sure it makes sense. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do tend to procrastinate, and beta-reading fanfiction is not my first priority. Nevertheless, if you label something urgent, it will move up in priority. I am a very detailed beta reader, and unless directed otherwise, will automatically look to correct any and all errors, and suggest improvements where possible. However, I only wish to read stories from fandoms I am familiar with, otherwise, I won't be as useful. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer the fandoms of Inuyasha, Bleach and Samurai Champloo. I also prefer action/adventure, romance, drama, fantasy. I am open to a number of different types of stories. I do prefer stories that are not A/U. |
